In this edition, we showcase CURE Epilepsy’s pioneering role in Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP) research and our legacy of leadership. Featured stories include:

• Jeanne Donalty's mission to bring awareness to SUDEP in honor of her son Christopher. Her efforts led to a two-decade-long journey of advocacy for SUDEP research and conversations.
   
• Dr. Peter Carlen's amazing 20+ years career in epilepsy research, beginning as a CURE Epilepsy grantee whose investigative study laid the foundation for further research into seizure detection and so much more.
