It feels great to be back doing what we love most: fighting to expand our voting rights 💪. However, there is one BIG thing standing in our way: the filibuster.

The filibuster – which mandates a 60-vote threshold for most bills to proceed through the Senate – is not in the Constitution. But, since its inception in the 19th century, the filibuster has been weaponized by prejudiced Senators to block civil rights legislation.

If we're going to protect our voting rights, our civil rights, and our reproductive rights, we need to ABOLISH the filibuster. ASAP.
