Well, it looks like the fight for Reproductive Justice is about to get a lot harder. Thankfully, Advocates for Youth is ready.
Right now, we have young people in our organizing programs who are:
Pushing their college campuses to provide abortion pills at the student health center.
Pressuring city councils in Texas to fund people's trips to the nearest abortion clinic, even if that soon becomes out-of-state.
Organizing to stop the criminalization of self-managed abortion, including recently fighting to get Lizelle Herrera released after she was arrested simply for having an abortion.
Supporting students' needs when it comes to contraceptive access, LGBTQ health & rights, HIV destigmatization, ending gender-based violence, creating safe and supportive communities for Muslim youth, and so much more.
