John, Earlier today I voted "No" on a Democrat-led bill that would radically impose an abortion law on all of us. Here are some of the facts about this pro-abortion bill that failed in the United States Senate: This bill would have legalized abortion up to the moment of birth. It does not protect religious institutions, like Catholic hospitals, from having to perform abortions. This bill goes FAR beyond Roe v. Wade. It would take away states' rights to legislate on abortion. I am proud to be pro-life and to have cast a vote against a radical bill that would guarantee abortions nationwide. I am glad it was rejected today in a bipartisan manner in the United States Senate. I hope you'll share my reasoning behind this NO vote with friends and family.
