Today the Senate voted on the Women's Health Protection Act, which would codify Roe v. Wade into federal law and protect the reproductive freedom of millions of women.

To no one's surprise, every Republican in the chamber voted against it. But one Democrat joined them: Joe Manchin.

One male Senator should not get to decide the future of women's rights, just like how five unelected Justices should not get to decide the future of women's rights.
