I know this week has been incredibly difficult and scary. Abortions are essential health care and should be widely accessible in every way. We want to move forward, not backward. As a woman and a women’s health care provider, abortion access is personal to me. I want to tell you a bit about how reproductive freedom relates to my future position as Wisconsin State Treasurer.

Reproductive freedom is an economic issue. From the cost of birth control, Plan B, and/or abortion, to the cost of prenatal care, birthing care, and childcare, there is no escaping the financial realities. Every one of these things should be affordable. As State Treasurer, I will support the right to choose through every avenue, and that means making it financially accessible.

We have to work together to fight these attacks on our rights. You deserve the freedom to choose, and I will always defend that freedom. Can you help me help you with a donation of $10 to sustain my campaign for State Treasurer?
