I've been concerned at the prospect that the COVID virus that has caused death, chaos and illness across the globe for more than two years was leaked from a lab in Wuhan. The Chinese Communist Party has not made it easy to investigate the truth.
Today, the head of the National Institutes of Health admitted to me during questioning in D.C. that an "error" was made in the agency's handling of a potentially critical COVID gene sequence early in the pandemic. Chinese scientists had submitted this gene sequence to NIH's Sequence Read Archive, but then asked for it to be withdrawn from public view and investigation efforts.
The head of NIH admitted to me today that it complied and hid this potential puzzle piece in uncovering the truth behind COVID's origin.
