Hi John, At re:power, we know women of color have been leading the fight for justice and liberation before it became a "thing". Women of color make the movements.
That’s why we are excited to announce Standing in Our Power, a new cohort experience built by and for self identifying women of color to connect, heal, learn, and deepen our impact. This 12-week cohort experience, which includes virtual and in-person meetups, will amplify the unique leadership abilities within women of color while allowing us to build connections and continue to grow.
During this experience, the cohort will: - Develop skills and practices that address the needs of women of color in management and leadership roles
- Deepen skills in root causes analysis, strategic planning, organizing as a leader, communication and fundraising
- Practice centering their intersectional identities as leaders, managers, and organizers
- Connect in a space cultivated for relationship-building and resource-sharing
- Network with other women of color leaders committed to racial, gender and economic equity
