A few days ago, Republican contender Dan Cox met with Donald Trump at his home at Mar-a-Lago. Trump doubled down on his endorsement for Cox — a far-right extremist who organized buses to the January 6th insurrection — and applauded him for the campaign’s hateful, anti-immigrant, and divisive agenda.

It’s as simple as this: Having Dan Cox as Maryland’s next governor would be like having Donald Trump as governor.

This is NOT the leadership Maryland needs.

Donald Trump’s endorsement means EVERYTHING to Republicans. Now he’s having Dan Cox over to his home and doing more and more press on his behalf, and it’s clear Trump will do whatever it takes to put Cox and his far-right agenda into the Governor’s mansion.
