I believe and individual liberty demands that the decision about whether or not to have an abortion is between a woman and and her doctor, period.

Today I voted codify the right to choose.

Read below to understand why I voted to defend reproductive freedom, then sign your name if you agree that such a personal health care decision should be between a woman and her doctor.

Subject: SCOTUS is threatening to overturn abortion rights nationwide
To: <[email protected]>

Team,

I’ve long had concerns about the radical nature of this Supreme Court — and last night those concerns became reality.

Yesterday, a draft opinion came out which shows the Supreme Court’s intention to overturn abortion rights at the federal level in this country, representing an attack on a fundamental, constitutional right enshrined in law for half a century.

If the Court issues this as an official decision, we are, once again, back in the fight to enshrine this fundamental right into federal law.

I believe — and individual liberty demands — that the decision about whether or not to have an abortion is between a woman and and her doctor, period.

If you agree that we need to protect these rights and leave these most personal decisions between women and their doctors, add your name today. There is strength in numbers.

Friend: I won’t stop fighting to protect these rights in the Senate.

Thank you for being with me in this fight,

Michael
