I’m losing patience, folks. A 50/50 Senate isn’t just not cutting it—it’s dangerous.

Moments ago, the Senate failed to pass the Women’s Health Protection Act, which would codify Roe v. Wade. Thanks to Senate Republicans abusing the filibuster once again, right-wing politicians in states across the country—including Ohio—will ban abortion when Roe is officially overturned next month.

I’m angry, scared for my children, and tired of this bullshit. It has never been more important to win this race and expand the Democratic Senate majority. It’s the only way forward.

If Mitch McConnell and the GOP take back Senate control, any chance of protecting access to safe and legal abortion immediately goes out the window.
