Hi John,

Like you, Wildlands Network has a deep appreciation for wildlife's needs. For 30 years, we've been protecting wildlife from the human-made barriers that threaten their survival, continent-wide.
In Utah, roads are a prominent obstacle. Major highways crisscross the state, transporting people to their destinations but present life-threatening barriers to wildlife. Along Interstate 84 in northeastern Utah, wildlife-vehicle collisions are a major concern.
Thankfully, recently-passed state legislation is turning the tide for deer, elk, moose, and other species inhibited by the road—including $1 million allocated to wildlife crossing structures on I-84! We led a coalition of partners to champion this bill, and continue to foster community and political support for crossings and restoration projects that require state and local funding.
Read on to learn more specific actions we've recently taken to keep Utah's wildlife moving, and then make a gift ([link removed]) that will contribute to safer passage for wildlife and our communities across the West. Please don't wait! Thanks to a generous matching challenge your support for conservation in Utah will go twice as far today.
