As politicians seize this moment to advance their decades-long, coordinated strategy to ban abortion access, pills, and IUDs across the country, we want to make one thing clear: Abortion is still legal.

And it's still your right.

SCOTUS is prepared to end this right and send this issue back to the states. When that happens, 26 states could move to ban abortion, affecting over 36 million people.

This afternoon, Congress once again votes on the Women's Health Protection Act. Time and time again, this Congress has shown us that they will not protect abortion access or reproductive care, and we expect that today, they will again fail to pass these vital protections.

This means that our theory of change is more urgent than ever and that electing state and local prochoice champions who will protect access to abortion and stop bans at their source remains of the utmost importance.

We are not backing down — and with so many critical upcoming primaries that may determine the future of reproductive care in states across the country, we need you with us.
