John,

BIG NEWS: Laura just signed a bill to slash the price of groceries for Kansas families.

Laura made axing the food tax one of her top priorities when you elected her. Today, she finally had the chance to make it happen.

This tax cut, and the $310 million property tax cut bill Laura signed earlier this month, will use the massive revenue surplus Laura built to benefit everyday families while still keeping our schools and priorities fully funded. That's the kind of leadership Kansas needs now.

Will you help Laura continue building a Kansas that works for all of us -- not the special interests? Chip in whatever you can right now to make sure Laura can keep Kansas moving forward.

Lots of folks will claim credit for this bill, but it's Laura who made this tax cut a priority, built consensus across both parties, and finally made it law.

We need her leadership -- not a return to the Brownback experiment.

But if the polls keep moving in the wrong direction, we could see a return to underfunded schools, crumbling roads and bridges, and an even stronger focus on divisive laws that hinders our ability to attract businesses to Kansas.

We've got to set the record straight right now, and we need the funds to keep Laura's message on the air. Will you chip in to make sure Kansas has a governor who will put our families -- not the special interests -- first?

Thanks for your support,

Team Kelly
