John, it’s official—I’ll be facing millionaire right-wing extremist JD Vance in November.

You’d be hard-pressed to find a candidate more out-of-touch with hardworking Americans than JD Vance. He’s endorsed by Donald Trump and has the backing of Silicon Valley billionaire Peter Thiel’s $13.5 million dark money super PAC.

But even with all of that on his side—I have a one-point lead on him in the polls, proving we have the momentum to flip Ohio blue. But I’m going to need a whole lot of help because the stakes of our battleground race just got a lot higher.

Now that the Supreme Court vote to overturn Roe v. Wade has been leaked, we can’t afford to let JD anywhere near the Senate. He called pregnancy from rape “inconvenient” and said overturning Roe would be a “victory.”

If JD wins in Ohio, and the GOP manages to flip the Senate seat in Georgia, Republicans will retake control of the Senate, and they could institute a national abortion ban. We’ve got to stop them, in Ohio AND in Georgia.

JD has the full backing of the entire Republican Party on his side and they’ve committed to spending hundreds of millions to try to take back Senate control.
