I’m proud to endorse Summer Lee for Congress in PA-12.

Her primary election is next Tuesday, and now is the time to expand our progressive power in Congress. We need Summer Lee in Congress to pass landmark progressive legislation like a Green New Deal, immigration reform, legal system reform, expanded voting and reproductive rights, and Medicare for All.

Can you pitch into Summer Lee’s campaign in the crucial week before next Tuesday’s primary election?

One of Summer’s top issues is environmental justice, because her region suffers from some of the worst air quality in the country. Like me, her priorities include fully funding the replacement of all lead water lines—and ensuring that clean air and water are treated like the human rights they are.

Summer also has a proven track record as an organizer and state legislator where she’s fought against corporate greed, systemic racism, labor exploitation, and environmental dangers.

No wonder she scares corporate super PACs, who’ve spent hundreds of thousands of dollars trying to defeat her. In these last few days of connecting with voters in her community before the primary, our grassroots support is so important.

I know Summer will continue to be a fighter for PA-12 and a partner in the quest for environmental, racial, economic, and social justice in the United States. That is why I’m personally asking: Will you chip in $5 to help her win next Tuesday’s primary election?
