The event will highlight what we’ve been doing to create a more progressive wave in Maryland politics in order to turn the tide in Maryland politics. This means putting political power in the hands of working class people and taking it away from the wealthy few and the powerful corporations who work against our interests and our communities.

We launched our Progressive Slate last November
We helped elect Edward Burroughs to the Prince Georges Council in a special election in January
We’ve donated thousands of dollars to candidates running in Baltimore, Prince George’s County, Charles County, Frederick and Baltimore County
We’ve conducted more than 25 Throwdown Thursday events for many of those candidates
We held ten local house party events to recruit supporters

To ensure that all of our New Era PAC endorsed candidates have success, we need to raise an additional $12,000 before the Primary in 69 days.Your financial support gives us an important vehicle for progressives to run and win up and down the ballot. Of course we’re also stepping up our grassroots campaigning and recruiting folks to knock doors, do lit drops, and make phone calls in order to reach voters in each district or jurisdiction. We need your support right now if we are going to make the difference we hope to make in who is representing us on County Councils and in Annapolis.
