With a leaked draft confirming that the Supreme Court is set to overturn Roe v. Wade later this year, we must consider the real-world impact that would be immediately felt, especially in the thirteen states that have already passed trigger laws that will automatically ban abortions upon the Supreme Court overturning it.

Our CEO, Yvette Simpson made this point quite well on ABC's This Week pointing out that the practical enforcement of these laws will lead to states taking incredibly intrusive actions, including tracking anyone that is pregnant across state lines.

Make no mistake about what's happening. The Supreme Court overturning Roe will lead to death and jail time and lives hang in the balance if Congress doesn't act. That's why we're doing everything we can to make Roe law now.

Nearly 70% of Americans, including close to 40% of Republicans, believe abortions should continue to be legal. Both President Biden and Vice President Harris ran on a commitment to make Roe law.

There's no getting around the fact when states ban legal abortion, women die.
