Available Internship Opportunities

Texas Values is seeking motivated university, graduate, and law school students to intern in our Austin office (or remotely with special approval) who have a passion to promote biblical values and have a desire to learn more about law, public policy, and the political process in Texas. Responsibilities of Interns:

  • Support senior staff in the day-to-day operations of the Austin office
  • Complete various legal research and special policy projects
  • Manage various data entry projects
  • Assist with web and social media outlets
  • Deliver information to offices at the Texas Capitol and other government offices
  • Attend and assist with events

Qualifications:

  • Committed to the Texas Values mission and vision
  • Available to work 10 – 20 hours/week around class schedule at our Austin office (or remotely by approval)
  • Self-motivated and highly organized individual
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Maintain a professional appearance

Available Full-Time Positions

Texas Values is also currently seeking applicants for the Director of Operations, Communications Associate, and Administrative Assistant positions. These are both full-time, in-person positions at our Austin office, with a competitive compensation package including benefits.

Director of Operations

The Director of Operations is a vital member of the Texas Values team and is a management-level position that will help lead and implement planning, organization, and direction of the organization’s operations and programs.

Communications Associate

The Communications Associate position is responsible for the creation, execution, and growth of Texas Values’ presence in traditional media and social/new media.

Administrative Assistant

The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support for all staff, including the President, coordinates administrative duties in the office, and helps ensure high levels of organizational effectiveness.
