Even before last week, Republican Arizona AG, Mark Brnovich was aggressively anti-abortion. He has repeatedly gone to court to criminalize certain abortions and sentence medical providers to jail time.

But this week, even after the shocking abortion news that rocked the country, Brnovich spoke in “vague terms” about an abortion ban. He’s gambling that voters are going to have short term memory loss.

And while our team doesn’t gamble, we’d wager that whoever gets nominated to replace Brnovich as Arizona AG will likely be a similar threat to abortion access in Arizona. Earlier this year there was a so-called “heartbeat” bill introduced in the state legislature that we have to fight back against.
