Friend,
The future of reproductive rights hinges on what we do in this moment. I'm a pro-choice pastor, so when the Senate brings a bill to the floor tomorrow to codify Roe v. Wade into law, I'll be proudly voting yes. If you agree that we need to defend reproductive rights nationwide, will you click here to make your voice heard by midnight?

Here's the ugly truth: For decades, Republican politicians have been leading a relentless crusade to roll back reproductive rights and overturn Roe v. Wade. Now, a leaked draft opinion shows that the Supreme Court is planning to do just that: strip away the constitutional right to safe and legal abortion from millions, putting their lives and their health at risk.
|
Regardless of whether the Supreme Court follows through on this dangerous ruling, Congress must act immediately to guarantee access to reproductive health care under federal law. It's the only way to fully protect the right to choose from the GOP's attacks.
|
We don't have a second to waste. That's why I need to know if folks like you are with me to protect women's health care and reproductive freedom. But with time running out before our midnight rapid response deadline, I'm still missing 312 responses from 19125 – including yours, friend. So please, let me know right now:

Should we codify Roe v. Wade into law and defend reproductive rights nationwide?

I’ve always believed that a patient's room is way too small for a person, their doctor, and the United States government. I will be fighting tirelessly to protect the right to choose – and that will never change.
Thank you for speaking up with me.
