"The worst district in the state."
[[link removed]]
That's what our deeply entrenched, corporate-funded opponent, Dina Titus, has to say about us and our district. Hearing a sitting representative talk about her own constituents like this is shocking, but coming from a career politician who’s always had the system rigged in her favor, we're not exactly surprised…

On June 14th, voters in Las Vegas have an opportunity to replace this gross entitlement and complacency with the bold, progressive leadership the working people of Nevada’s new First Congressional District so badly need.
With exactly five weeks until Election Day, every day matters—and every dollar raised gets us closer to victory.
That’s why we’re asking you to chip into Amy Vilela's campaign right now. [[link removed]]

While Dina Titus has made her disdain for our communities crystal clear, here at Team Vilela, we view things differently. When looking at our new district, we see nothing but opportunity to grow our movement and continue the Political Revolution.
Our district is literally the heart of Las Vegas, and it’s home to some of the most vibrant working-class and immigrant communities in the country. From the Strip to downtown and Fremont Street; from UNLV to Harry Reid International; from Henderson and Boulder City to East Las Vegas—Nevada’s First is what makes Vegas Vegas.
While we’re undoubtedly one-of-a-kind, we’re also on the frontlines of almost every crisis we’re facing as a country.
We’re the fastest growing and fastest warming city in the country, and we’re rapidly running out of water. We’re once again at the epicenter of the housing crisis, with home prices and rent rising more than 25% since last year. We’re home to the highest undocumented population per capita in the country.

But we can also be the epicenter of our movement. NV-01 was ground zero for Senator Bernie Sanders’ landslide caucus victory in 2020, and the historic progressive takeover of the Nevada State Democratic Party. That’s because working people in Las Vegas understand that our status quo “system” is broken beyond repair, that it will never be for us.
Nowhere in the country do we need Medicare for All, a Green New Deal, and a Tenant’s Bill of Rights more than we do right here in Las Vegas. And that’s exactly what Amy’s fighting for—all while the establishment does nothing but bitch and moan.
We’re proud to have served as a leading example for the progressive movement. We know what’s possible when we roll up our sleeves and don’t stop organizing until we see results—and on June 14th, we’re planning to put Nevada back on the map when we defeat another complacent, corporate incumbent and elect Amy as our 2022 Democratic nominee for Nevada’s First District (the best district in the state)!
