Mitch McConnell’s super PAC and the GOP Senate campaign arm — run by Rick Scott — raised $70 million this year to flip seats like Michael’s, so there’s no wiggle room here. They see Colorado as an opportunity to gain power in the Senate and obstruct Michael’s work to lower taxes for working parents, lower health care costs, and hold Big Oil accountable for raising prices at the pump.
Michael is running to build on the progress he’s made for Colorado’s families, but that makes him vulnerable to the National GOP’s efforts to flip the Senate. And now, Roll Call and other publications have confirmed: Michael is one of the most vulnerable Senators in the country.
