We’re wrapping up our case-in-chief in the Fair Fight Action v. Raffensperger trial here in Georgia.
While our legal arguments and presentation of potential remedies for the State’s burdensome practices are still upcoming, we want to take this moment to recognize this historic moment. Since day one, this trial has been about giving Georgia voters the chance to finally have their day in court. It has been about holding Georgia’s Secretary of State and the State Election Board accountable for elections policies and procedures that unfairly burden Georgians.

Just last week, as county officials clamored to respond to a statewide outage of the State’s electronic voter registration system during early vote, Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger spent his time repeatedly misrepresenting the relief our suit seeks for eligible voters to score political points with his base and undermine Georgians’ confidence in the election.
Allow us to be clear here: There is nothing political about fighting for free and fair elections. Voting is a constitutional right shared by all voters — and we are here to ensure every eligible American has an equal opportunity to make their voice heard and be fairly represented.
Georgians deserve better — and we are proud to hold power to account and elevate the voices of Georgia voters throughout this trial.
Georgia is not the only state that has seen relentless efforts to suppress the vote and make it more difficult for voters to be heard — but our trial is part of our fight for meaningful change in Georgia and beyond.
Make no mistake: Efforts to suppress the vote and stifle the will of voters will be met with a fight. But we can’t do this without you and this community of supporters who share a dedication to protecting the freedom to vote. Will you make a $20 donation now so our team can ensure efficient, just, and fair elections in Georgia and across the country? [[link removed]]
Thank you for everything,
The Fair Fight Action team
P.S. As the trial went on in the courtroom, Georgia voters started to vote early ahead of the upcoming May 24th primary election. The midterm elections are already huge targets for anti-voting efforts. Please chip in $20 or anything you can today to boost our efforts to educate voters, fight disinformation, and protect access to the ballot box. [[link removed]]
