[ [link removed] ]Ayanna Pressley
This just in.
Right-wing media is attacking Ayanna for speaking out against the Supreme
Court’s recent attack on abortion access and reproductive rights.
Conservative radio host Todd Starnes posted:
[ [link removed] ]Todd Starnes: Democrat Rep. Ayanna Pressley says SCOTUS would be
obstructing the "will of the people" if they overturn Roe v. Wade. Wrong.
The Supreme Court's job is to follow the U.S. Constitution, not the will
of the people, ma'am.

the message to the far-right media that we’ve got Ayanna’s back and
support her work to codify Roe v. Wade into federal law?

Make no mistake: The current makeup of the Supreme Court is no accident.
Republicans have been relentless in their efforts to push our judiciary to
the right, and they’ve taken every opportunity to install deeply
conservative, unqualified judges to our highest court.
We know we can’t count on SCOTUS to protect reproductive freedom, and any
decision to restrict or ban abortion care will cause disproportionate harm
to Black, brown, Indigenous, LGBTQIA+, and low-income people.
Ayanna introduced legislation to codify Roe v. Wade and led the effort to
remove unjust and unnecessary barriers to abortion care. Ayanna won’t back
down from the fight to guarantee abortion access to all, and we know the
far-right will continue to go after her because of it.
[ [link removed] ]Will you contribute $3 to Ayanna’s re-election campaign
today to keep her in the fight, advancing reproductive freedom for all? We
rely 100% on grassroots support to power this urgent work.
In solidarity,
The A-Team
