On January 6, 2021, anti-democratic forces attempted an insurrection, and those same forces continue to attack our democracy by spreading misinformation, questioning election outcomes and limiting voting rights. Yet no reforms have passed to respond to these attacks and prevent the kind of political extremism that continues to fuel them.
As we near the end of Minnesota’s legislative session, we join with voters across the state to urgently demand action from our representatives to strengthen and protect our democracy.
We must protect and expand voting rights and pass proven and powerful reforms like Ranked Choice Voting that will help us ensure our democracy for generations to come.
The time for reform is now.
