Here in Rhode Island and across the country, seniors are struggling to pay their bills. Many of them rely on Social Security as their only source of income and depend on Medicare to get the health care coverage they need.

Social Security and Medicare are crucial social safety nets that millions of Americans rely on to live with dignity and security. But National Republican Senatorial Committee Chairman, Senator Rick Scott, recently released a plan that would end these programs and rob Americans of their earned benefits.

These are the same types of dangerous ideas that Kevin McCarthy expressed in his book, "Young Guns."

Seth knows how crucial Social Security and Medicare are to millions of Americans across the country and right here in Rhode Island.
