I’m writing to you today to tell you a hard truth about what it will take to flip this Senate seat. Please hear me out.

Wisconsin doesn’t do landslides. The most recent head-to-head poll says I’m the only Democrat who can defeat Ron Johnson, but it’s a dead heat. There’s no doubt in my mind this election will be a nail-biter, which means everything we do will make a critical difference in the final outcome.

Experts believe this will be one of the most expensive Senate races in the country, and Mitch McConnell’s super PAC has already booked $15 million in TV ads designed to boost Ron Johnson’s standing in this race and blunt our campaign’s momentum.

Democrats cannot hold and expand the Senate majority without winning this race. We are one of only two seats most likely to flip red to blue, but we'll only be able to fight back and win if we can count on a LOT of small-dollar donations from folks like you.
