“If I don’t have insulin, then I die.”
That’s what my constituent, Shane, told the Dallas Morning News. And this is a reality faced by far too many North Texans and Americans who rely on insulin to stay healthy.
Here’s my solution: Capping out-of-pocket costs at $35.
That’s the most House Democrats want you to pay for insulin each month.

Right now, because of Republican obstruction, and the millions of dollars some pharmaceutical companies spend on ads, some folks right here in North Texas are paying THOUSANDS of dollars per month for the insulin they can’t live without.
In the greatest country on Earth, this is unacceptable. I’m committed to capping out-of-pocket insulin costs at $35 and will keep working to lower prescription drug prices and health care costs across the board.
I know that the fight to lower prescription drug costs and make health care more accessible and affordable will be a long one, and there will be obstacles but this is a fight worth fighting.
If you agree, please sign your name and join me in the fight to cap the cost of insulin.
