With SCOTUS signaling its intentions to overturn Roe v. Wade, it is critical that we keep our progressive, pro-choice candidates on the ballot. Our fundamental human rights are under attack, and we need more women in the rooms where these sexist and dangerous laws are being written.

Jasmine Beach-Ferrara is running for North Carolina District 11, a seat that has NEVER been filled by a woman and is currently held by extremist Madison Cawthorn. In a tweet, Cawthorn stated, “Pray for the end of Roe v. Wade.”

On the contrary, as a pro-choice pastor, Jasmine has already promised to work on codifying Roe if elected. We know Jasmine Beach-Ferrara can beat right-wing extremist Cawthorn, but she will need our help to make it happen.

Erica Smith is running for North Carolina District 1. Her main opponent in the primary is a “Democratic” State Senator who has continuously crossed party lines and voted with Republicans on extremely important issues – including voting against reproductive rights in North Carolina and voting to defund Planned Parenthood. Erica is the ONLY pro-choice candidate in her race, and she has also vowed to codify Roe in Congress.

It’s critical that both of these candidates win – and you can help their campaigns today.
