Our communities are at their best when everyone has a safe, affordable place to call home. But, right now, the need for affordable housing far exceeds available housing — creating barriers that prevent people from all backgrounds and income levels from finding and staying in homes that meet their needs. 

In celebration of Affordable Housing Month, here are a few ways activists, organizers, nonprofits, philanthropies, private organizations, and community members are working together to produce, protect and preserve affordable housing.
