John, earlier this week Mitch McConnell said during an interview that, with the fall of Roe v. Wade, a national abortion ban “is possible”.
This is exactly what anti-abortion extremist politicians have been planning for all along – and this is exactly why we’re marching in just 4 days.
We have to mobilize and organize our friends, neighbors, and loved ones to fight back against GOP extremism. Will you chip in what you can to fund our march this Saturday? We’re working out the final details as we speak.
The fall of Roe won’t just affect red states, John. Undoing one of our most cherished and upheld constitutional rights after nearly 50 years is just the first step in dismantling the progress women, people of color, and working folks have fought for for decades. There will be a domino effect across the entire country.
Banning abortion is also overwhelmingly unpopular. Approximately 6 in 10 U.S. adults believe abortion should be legal in "all or most cases," according to a newly released Pew Research Center survey.
GOP politicians are showing us their hand and proving what we already know: they have no intention of slowing down their attacks on our reproductive freedom.
