At least 50,000 Texans receive abortions in Texas each year. Here's a look behind the numbers.
Texas has one of the most restrictive abortion bans in the country. And with the Supreme Court poised to overturn Roe v. Wade, abortion in Texas will effectively be outlawed.
Thousands of women in Texas stand to be affected by the abortion restrictions — we can’t let that happen.
Without Roe v. Wade, it will be left to states to determine the future of reproductive rights. So right now, flipping Texas from red to blue couldn’t be more important.
We urgently need to elect Democratic, pro-choice leaders who will work in the state government to defend and protect reproductive freedom.
