National Republicans have officially chosen a candidate to run against me – and he's already aligned himself with Kevin McCarthy's Young Guns program.

It's no fun to run against a Young Gun, but we've done it before. They get millions of dollars in outside support from the GOP, and the ads can get ugly.

With your support, we'll rise above the fray and keep talking about the issues that matter: Getting big money out of politics. Protecting reproductive freedom. Ending partisan gridlock. Preventing gun violence. Supporting small businesses. And so much more.

Over the weekend, I was honored to be officially endorsed by the Minnesota DFL Party for the 2022 ballot. Saturday's convention left me feeling so energized about the future of Minnesota, and I'm grateful to everyone who's helped build this campaign into what it is.

This is not going to be an easy race – national Republicans like McCarthy will make sure of it. But if this grassroots team continues to have my back, we'll hold this seat and show candidates nationwide what a winning campaign can look like.
