Mitch McConnell and Republicans across the country are taking aim at the right to an abortion—and they won’t stop there.

Take a look:

FIRST, we learned that the Supreme Court has drafted an opinion to overturn Roe v. Wade, undoing nearly fifty years of precedent for safe and legal abortions.

THEN, Mitch McConnell said it’s “possible” a Republican Senate would pass a national abortion ban when the Supreme Court’s ruling goes into effect.

NOW, state legislatures like Idaho have said they’re considering restricting access to emergency contraception, like Plan B.

Republicans across the country are doing everything they can to turn back the clock on abortion rights and now they’re signaling a desire to restrict access to contraception. If they succeed, people across the country will suffer and lose their right to live a life they choose. It’s unacceptable, and we must join together and fight back.

Here’s the thing: If we lose this race and lose the Senate, Republicans could fill the bench with even more extreme conservative justices. They could go even further to infringe on our most fundamental rights.
