Social Security Works PAC is kicking off a series of endorsements with one of our favorite members of the House of Representatives: Katie Porter.

Since her first election in 2018, Rep. Porter has made a name for herself by using her whiteboard to cut through complicated issues and speak directly to the values we all share. Her questioning of Big Pharma executives, big oil executives, and Postmaster General Louis DeJoy have shown that she’s one of the best communicators in the House of Representatives.

She’s been a staunch advocate on expanding Social Security, Medicare for All, and lowering prescription drug prices. Her moral clarity made her extraordinarily popular, even in what was considered a swing district when she first won it. But in 2022, re-districting has made her district much redder―which means Katie needs to work overtime to reach her new constituents.
