Your advocacy is key to ending subminimum wage. You’ve been calling, emailing, tweeting and writing ⁠— and we need to keep up that momentum until the Transformation to Competitive Employment Act (TCEA) is passed. That’s why we’re introducing a new part of our campaign for employment equality: TCEA Tuesdays!

TCEA would end the discriminatory practice of paying people with disabilities less than minimum wage, and fund programs that support us to work in our communities. Starting next week and continuing through August, we’ll be calling in every Tuesday to ask our members of Congress to support TCEA. RSVP to our Facebook event for reminders, scripts and tips that make joining our call-in easier! If you can’t make phone calls because of a disability, we’ve got you covered — use our proxy calling system to send in a call script.
