As the son of working-class immigrants, I understood from a young age the importance of hard work. Rather than wallow in hardships, my parents told me to fill my head and not worry about my pockets. One of the things I made clear in this op-ed is that I am a businessman, not a politician. I understand the problems our country is facing, and I want to bring my business experience to Capitol Hill so we can restore American strength at home and abroad. It's time we stand up to China, put a stop to this runaway inflation, and restore American energy independence. We need to restore and protect the American Dream for our kids and grandkids by focusing on what we have in common, rather than highlighting what divides us. If there's one thing I know, it's this; we can't let career politicians and party-line Democrats continue to run our country and our economy into the ground. The definition of insanity, it is said, is to do the same thing over and over again while expecting a different outcome. Well, it’s time to end the insanity. It’s time to think differently. And most importantly, it’s time to replace the career politicians who have supported the failed policies that are hurting so many Granite State families.
