Phil loves celebrating people’s birthdays. Why? Because he deeply cares for others and has a knack for making people feel appreciated and loved.

To help celebrate Phil’s 54th birthday, I’m sharing some fun facts about what makes him special to our family:

Zeke, our family dog, has claimed Phil as his favorite.
Phil is a doting father. He made our kids’ lunches throughout elementary and middle school, and he still reads to them every night before bed. Over the years, we have graduated from “Goodnight Moon” to “Harry Potter” to Brad Meltzer's latest legal thriller.
Phil loves to shop and, in fact, he does the majority of the food shopping for our household. In particular, he loves Costco.
Phil is a creature of habit. He loves to eat at the same restaurants and go to the same vacation spots. He has a soft spot for fast food casual dining options (like Chipotle, Noodles, and Panera) and for iced teas.
