As the days creep closer to the end of the Title 42 immigration policy, more and more lawmakers are sounding the alarm. The calls have grown loud — and for good reason: 18,000 illegal migrants could cross the border per day once Title 42 ends.

Cases of tuberculosis, once controlled in the U.S., are now rising nationwide, especially in border states. Legal immigrants must comply with our laws requiring immunization, but there is no way to enforce these laws for those who cross our borders illegally.
