This week we learned that an extreme wing of the Supreme Court seeks to deny American women the fundamental rights of privacy and equality by reversing Roe v. Wade.

I want to be clear: This decision is a direct assault on the dignity, rights, and lives of women, not to mention decades of settled law. It will kill and subjugate women even as a vast majority of Americans think abortion should be legal. 

This is an outrage. But it must also be a mobilizing moment. We have a lot of work to do, all over the country, to help people access the care they need, challenge reactionary laws, and win elections at every level. ⁣

Today, Onward Together is directing any donation we receive to pro-choice groups, along with Onward Together partners working to recruit, elect, and support pro-choice candidates. Please, if you can, make a contribution today to protect this fundamental right.

Attacks on reproductive rights are attacks on women’s basic and most important freedoms. And none of us can or should accept a future in which our daughters and granddaughters have fewer rights than we do.

There is work to be done, but as always, we are stronger together.
