Supporter,
There's no easy way to say this: we are almost out of time to act on the climate crisis.
Of course, the key word is almost. It's not too late for the Senate to pass bold investments in climate action. But Republicans continue to deny the reality of the climate crisis—and refuse to take action to mitigate climate-fueled disasters.
It's time for senators to stop playing games and pass a budget reconciliation package with $555 billion in investments in climate, care, jobs and justice. We're working the phones and strategizing with our climate allies, while mobilizing the grassroots energy of our millions of supporters—but we need your help.

SUPPORT BOLD CLIMATE ACTION
Just a few weeks ago, on Earth Day, President Biden issued an executive order protecting old-growth forests and making our public lands part of the climate solution.
While that's an important step, the President and Congress together must follow it up with bold, transformational legislation that secures a clean energy future—and creates millions of family-sustaining union jobs—while advancing critical safeguards to protect our air and water, defend vulnerable species from the extinction crisis, and secure environmental justice for communities that have long borne the brunt of fossil fuel pollution.
It's up to us, working together with our coalition partners, to make that happen. And we know how to draw attention to these issues: on April 23 we saw thousands of people rally in Washington, DC, Atlanta, and Phoenix, along with participants in more than 115 events across the country. We're mobilizing our vast grassroots network to inundate their elected officials with demands to pass transformative investments in a clean energy future.
The solutions to the climate crisis must match the scale of the problem. Likewise, the urgency in our leaders must match the immediacy of the catastrophe before us.

Rush your gift to the Sierra Club without delay. Our climate and our communities can't wait.
During Earth week, many senators issued performative statements in support of the planet, while speaking out against the need for critical clean energy tax incentives, and even vocally supporting oil drilling on sensitive land in the Western Arctic in Alaska!
There is no place for unserious leadership in the fight to stem the climate crisis. Thank you in advance for
