Happy Thanksgiving, Team Hayes!
I visited my physical therapist, Alicia, this morning and she gave me a great new recipe: her favorite Pumpkin Chocolate Chip cookies.
I am sharing that with you:
- 1 cup melted butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 4 cups flour
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 2 tsp. pumpkin spice
- 1 bag chocolate chips
Cream together butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and pumpkin. In a separate bowl, mix flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin spice. Add slowly into wet ingredients. Mix well. Bake at 350 degrees for 13-15 minutes. And ENJOY!
As I reflect on this year, I am most thankful for supporters like you. Supporters who have stepped in when our backs have been against the wall. Supporters like you who have chipped in and made this a tremendous year for #TeamHayes. Over the past 11 months in Congress, Jahana has been working hard to make sure everyone has access to affordable healthcare, clean air, and access to the ability to dream.
With your help, we can keep Jahana fighting for the causes that are important to us. Before you stuff the turkey or load everyone up to visit family and friends or prepare for Black Friday deals, can you make a quick contribution right now to help keep Jahana in Washington?
