Dear
Friend
—
Over the next few days, registered voters in our city will be
receiving ballots in the mail for the June 7 primary election. Voting
is incredibly important to the future of our country and city. I hope
you'll join me in making sure your voice is heard this election.
It's never been easier to vote in Long Beach. Every registered
voter will be mailed a ballot. Once yours is filled out you can return
it in the mail and you don’t even need a stamp.
You can also place it in a ballot drop box or return it to a vote
center on June 7 before 8 p.m. Long Beach is home to 17 ballot drop
boxes, located at:
- Bixby Park Community Center (130 Cherry Ave.)
- Bret Harte Neighborhood Library( 1595 W. Willow St.)
- Burnett Neighborhood Library (560 E. Hill St.)
- Dana Neighborhood Library (3680 Atlantic Ave.)
- El Dorado Park West Community Center (2800 N. Studebaker Rd.)
- Freeman Community Center (1205 Freeman Ave.)
- Heartwell Park Community Center (5801 Parkcrest St.)
- Houghton Park Community Center (6301 Myrtle Ave.)
- Long Beach City Hall (411 W. Ocean Blvd.)
- Long Beach Senior Center (1150 E. Fourth St.)
- Marina Vista Park (5355 E. Eliot St.)
- Mark Twain Neighborhood Library (1401 E. Anaheim St.)
- Michelle Obama Neighborhood Library (5870 Atlantic Ave.)
- Ramona Park (3301 E. 65th St.)
- Scherer Park (4600 Long Beach Blvd.)
- Stearns Champions Park (4520 E. 23rd St.)
- Veterans Park (101 E. 28th St.)
If you'd like to vote in
person, you can do so at any L.A. County vote center on election day.
The City of Long Beach will make a list of vote centers and hours —
including information on early voting — available to residents closer
to the election.
As always, if you need to
register to vote, wish to track your ballot or request a new one you
can do so here.
Thank you,
Mayor Robert Garcia
