This Friday, the Republican Party of Minnesota will kick off their State Convention to endorse their slate of statewide candidates, including a candidate for governor of Minnesota. 

Now, I can’t predict the future. But based on what our Republican opponents have been saying on the campaign trail so far, we can expect a weekend filled with divisive, anti-democratic, anti-choice rhetoric and fear-mongering.

No matter who ends up at the top of the ticket against us, I can’t wait to prove once again that Minnesotans stand ready to reject the politics of division – just like we did in 2018. But with the stakes in this election higher than ever, I can’t do it alone.

The fact is that Trumpism is still alive and well in the Minnesota Republican Party, and it’s going to take everything we have to keep them from retaking power.
