We have some exciting news to share.
This Wednesday, Jean Ross, RN and NNU President, will attend the CVS Health shareholders' meeting to ask why they’ve spent millions to block Medicare for All. Nurses are outraged that CVS Health is lobbying against needed health care reform in the midst of a pandemic, and Jean is joining to confront them directly.
Jean explains why she’s attending and what she plans to ask at the meeting in a new video. Will you watch and share the video to help amplify our demands to CVS to stop bankrolling anti-Medicare for All efforts?

CVS says that they want to increase health care access to underserved communities. Nurses support Medicare for All because it is the best model to guarantee health care to patients who need it most.
Yet CVS donated $5 million to the dark money lobbying group that’s fighting Medicare for All – the Partnership for America's Health Care Future.
Jean will join Wednesday’s meeting to ask why they are part of this dark money lobbying group despite their claims of supporting health care access. We all deserve to hear CVS’ answer to Jean’s question. Will CVS ignore the leader of the country’s largest union of registered nurses in the midst of the pandemic? Stay tuned in with us on Wednesday to find out.
The more eyes we have on CVS this week, the more pressure they’ll feel to respond to our demands and finally answer whether or not they will cut ties with the Partnership.
With thanks,
Nurses’ Campaign to Win Medicare for All
