One week ago, a leaked draft of a Supreme Court decision signaled that the historic precedent of Roe v. Wade may soon be coming to an end. While abortion is legal in Iowa without Roe, its future is deeply uncertain, with Republicans already taking serious strides towards removing the freedom to choose from the Iowa constitution.

We cannot back down — that’s why I’m asking you to chip in $5 or whatever you can spare today to ensure I can defeat Republican Senate President Jake Chapman and stay in office advocating for the reproductive rights of all Iowans.

The Iowa GOP has been working for years to restrict or even outright ban abortion in our state — and if we allow them to hold the Senate majority, they will finally have the chance to do it. We must flip key Senate seats across the state and defeat Republican leaders like my extremist opponent Jake Chapman, and we need serious resources to do it.
