Dear John,
Trucks are a major source of lung-damaging air pollutants and they are driving up greenhouse gas pollution. Submit a comment telling the EPA we need strong standards to tackle truck pollution. ([link removed])

Trucks are responsible for particulate matter (PM), nitrogen oxides (NOx), and other pollutants that exacerbate pulmonary and respiratory illnesses. This results in higher numbers of ER visits, an increased number of missed work/school days, and even premature deaths. Vehicle pollution affects everyone, but not equally. EPA needs to set the strongest possible limits on NOx pollution to help us all have cleaner air to breathe but especially for disadvantaged communities most burdened by dirty air.
Unfortunately, EPA’s proposed pollution reduction standards fail to meet our clean air or climate crisis head on. Cleaner trucks are a good start, but we need both stronger NOx standards and more zero-emission vehicles. EPA can and should use these standards to accelerate the transition to electric trucks.
Tell the EPA to protect clean air and ensure that zero-emission heavy-duty vehicles are adopted as swiftly as possible. ([link removed])
Thank you for your support and engagement.
