Dear John,

This Thanksgiving, I'm reflecting on what I'm most thankful for: my great fortune in friends and family, the secure home I have, my incredibly rewarding work, and rapid buses.

Every day, I'm thankful I live in such a beautiful city, on one of the main Rapid bus routes in the city. With frequent service and transit priority, I know I can count on my trip taking 25-30 minutes where it used to take 45 minutes or an hour or more. And I’m thankful for our members who give us the strength to advocate for more rapid routes.

Better Muni service isn't just about transit, it's about making more time to do the things we love. Fast and reliable bus service means more time spent with family and friends, and more corners of the city to visit. It means better access to jobs, schools, doctors, libraries, restaurants, and cultural experiences. That is why we fight so hard for excellent transit in San Francisco, and why we are committed to a rapid bus network that gets you across the city in 30 minutes by 2030. 

This season of giving thanks, become a #RapidAdvocate and support something that makes life better for everyone.
