The leaked majority opinion from the Supreme Court last week overturning Roe v. Wade has made it more clear than ever why it’s so important we keep our Democratic Senate majority this November.

Despite the vast support abortion rights have with the majority of Americans, Republican Senators were openly celebrating its potential reversal all weekend. Senator Rand Paul sent out a fundraising email calling for a total federal ban on abortion, a ban which Senator Mitch McConnell said would be “possible” if Republicans came back into power.

The damage to women and families if Republicans take back the Senate is significant and real — so we must dig in and make sure Mitch McConnell never runs the Senate again.

Everything is on the line this November, and with a 50-50 majority, we can’t afford to lose a single seat. Republicans are having a record-breaking fundraising cycle so far, and it’s crucial that we raise the resources needed to compete.
